Files
Are MIDI files free?
Yes, all MIDI and Karaoke files are free to download.
How can I upload my MIDI files?
File uploading can only be performed on desktop browsers (Windows, MacOS, Linux). To upload your files click here.
I have MIDI files that weren't sequenced by me. Can I upload them?
No, you may only upload files sequenced by you or files for which you have authorization to share online.
I uploaded new files. Why aren't they showing in new releases?
The system updates new releases daily; it may take up to 24 hours after they were uploaded to appear.
In what format can I download the files?
Files are downloaded in MIDI (.mid) format. Karaokes are MIDI files that also include synchronized lyrics.
Do I need an account to download?
Yes, you need a free account to download files. You can create one here.
What should I do if a file infringes copyright?
If you believe a file violates applicable laws, email us at reports@karaoplay.com specifying which file it is. We will review it and, if appropriate, remove it from the site.
Users
What are points used for?
Points on the site are a rating given to each user for sharing files and receiving downloads from other users.
What is the difference between points and credits?
Points represent your historical reputation on Karaoplay: they increase when you participate, share files, and receive interactions from other users. Credits are your redeemable account balance; they function as internal currency to download karaokes and, later on, other available content.
How can I earn points and credits?

How can I appear among featured users?
The evaluation parameters vary; we recommend uploading new files, downloading, commenting on files, and logging in daily. This will allow the system to recognize you as an active user; parameters reset every 7 days.
Accounts
I cannot log in. What can I do?
For security, the system may update passwords periodically. If you cannot log in, please recover your password.
I did not receive the confirmation email. What should I do?
Check your spam or junk folder. Accounts not confirmed within 72 hours are automatically deleted, so if that timeframe has elapsed you will need to register again.
How do I change my password?
If you are signed in, go to password settings. If you cannot sign in, recover it via your email.
How do I deactivate or delete my account?
Sign in and navigate to deactivate account. For security, your data is not deleted immediately: it is kept for up to 30 days after the request and then permanently deleted.
